No more, no less, there are two point three kilo square meters of field,

20070131 我和足球之未完成
足球周末，足球周？
我是98年开始迷上足球的。
那年夏天的世界杯，我通过那时还叫《大河文化报》的报纸，转播世界杯的中央二台，和广播，“认识”了一个叫罗那尔多的巴西人，知道了世界杯和意大利足球联赛。那年夏天我“碰巧”转学到四十七中，新朋友们大多踢球（那个时候中学里面足球比篮球热多了，不象现在），我也开始了“踢球生涯”。
从那时到高中毕业，因为寄宿学校，我并没有看很多场球，周末回家赶得上就看河南建业的比赛，那时还叫甲B；寄宿过同学家里，看过几场德甲和意甲，看过罗那尔多伤愈复出的比赛。那时我们得到足球的消息主要靠《体坛周报》，一个人买全班男生传着看，《足球俱乐部》之类的杂志如果有，更是精品了。02年的世界杯是在高考前，中国队的第一场世界杯时，高三的学生答第x次摸底考试的数学卷子，学校没有放假，反而是组织学生在教室看球，于是我们考试的时候就能听到另外一栋教学楼传来的加油声。哦，差点忘记了，那时候看过许多场国奥队和国家队的比赛，那时侯的中国足球还没让人绝望。
高中时候我一直是班队队长，组织了n场跟其他班的比赛，辉煌的时候是高二的时候横扫高一各班加联队，还战胜了“宿敌”一班。我一共进过3个球，个个印象深刻，有一个就是4：2逆转高一联队时的第3个球。那时候我踢得真不咋地，不过我体力一度是最好的，活动范围遍及球场每个角落。不过那时侯我们班人才济济，甚至“高水平”的守门员就有3个！

足球周末
上个拜五，我还在图书馆看书到闭管。从周六开始，是中国许多学子考研的大日子；对我，则是一个足球周末的开始。对于那些考研的人，尤其是其中的一个，我只能送上我默默的祝福；对于我自己，我很清楚自己接下来2天要面对的是：一次草地上的训练，看2晚3场球赛，踢2场国大中国学生会组织的足球的比赛。
尽管拜五我睡得很晚，拜六还是9点就起来，吃点东西，10点钟赶到了SRC球场。我们队，是我们这届SM3学生里4年来还一直踢球的几个老骨头，加上我们在PGP篮球场上踢球认识的2个大一音乐学院的学生，和一个大一的越南兄弟组成的。选在10点训练，是因为第2天的比赛是9点半开始的，我们得适应下一大早就顶着骄阳踢球的感觉。国大球场很拥挤，下面那块足球场被Hall队还是什么的占去踢训练赛，上面的一大块草地，尽管草很深，地很烂，也被IHG棒球比赛占去了好多，我们于是只能拣没人的地方摆2个小门，踢了会球，后来又练习了跑动中接球射门。
下午我跟2个兄弟去Queensway买鞋，我们逛了好几家店，他们终于分别挑中了一双60块的NIKE金色球鞋（小罗做广告的）和一双80块的Diadora蓝色的有点复古挺专业的球鞋。下午一直在下雨。但是之前组织方就说了只要不下大雨，比赛都会照常。于是我们很担心第2天草地的状况。晚上lu chao， ma yao来我们家看球。后防主力尽伤的切尔西0比2输给利liverpool, 切队主帅魔力鸟一定很郁闷，不过切队的进攻也真不咋地。

A New Semester when Apple Inc. & iPhone says Hello, world!
10, Jan, Wednesday, the third day of my last semester in the university. I’ve been trying put effort in this semester, and I decided today to take 4 modules this semester, the last one I chose is CS2106 Operating System. Though I’ve been hearing all the years that it’s a tough module with difficult and time consuming assignments, I know now I need it, for the sake of preparing my myself for a job. I want to be a computer engineer!
Also today, I read news about Apple Computer Inc. renamed itself to Apple Inc. and unveiled the long-expected and much-speculated product: the iPhone.
When I read the news only this morning, I didn’t see much difference of iPhone compared to other smart phones: it looks alike other phones with large touch screens, and it looks alike iPod also, since it’s also in square shape.
However, when I was watching to Steve Jobs’ keynote presentation at MacWorld, I realized I made a mistake by judging iPhone from appearance only. The truth is: it is not an ordinary music phone but a very very smart phone.
Many new technologies, new feathers have been implemented in that small box, and Apple claims that it has over 200 patents! And I think the most significant difference of iPhone from other smart phones is the great UI.
Talking about operating systems of existing smart phones, they use one of the following three systems: Symbian OS, Windows Mobile, or Linux. I’ve used Nokia Symbian phone and Windows Mobile PDA for a while, so that I know they are not so easy to use, and they have many complex settings or functions. With iPhone, the experience would be totally different. Like iPod, user would know immediately how to use it when get it in hand. I’m expecting iPhone to tell the world what an “advanced” OS Mac OS X is!
Combining a mobile phone with a iPod is a good job, but is not enough for Apple. Apple incorporated Internet communicator with iPhone also. With Wi-Fi and Safari, and with the cooperation from Google and Yahoo, iPhone is likely to bring Internet much more closer to our daily life. Other than search engines, these two companies brings Google Map and Yahoo Mail to iPhone! As far as I know, you cannot receive email from Yahoo using mail applications but to visit its web page, but now you can get PUSH mail on the iPhone.
It’s a good lesson to learn from the release of iPhone: how innovative those Apple engineers are and what a great decision that Apple management team have made to put such a product on the market.
The successful launching of iPhone is reflected in the share market immediately:
Despite that uncertainty — and despite the fact that Apple’s phone won’t be available until June — Wall Street has initially blessed it. Apple shares jumped $7.10 to close at $92.57 on the Nasdaq Stock Market, creating about $6 billion in new shareholder wealth. The stock has traded in a 52-week range of $50.16 to $93.16.
Nearly 120 million Apple shares changed hands Tuesday, more than 4 times the average daily volume.
Meanwhile, shares of other smart-phone makers slid: Treo-maker Palm dropped 5.7 percent, BlackBerry’s Research In Motion Ltd. lost 7.9 percent and Motorola Inc. shed 1.8 percent.
And, it’s a nice feeling to see Google CEO Dr. Eric Schmidt and Yahoo co-founder Jerry Yang and to hear from them. They have been doing really great in the industry and the technology field.
Being in the last semester in school, I’m having new feelings also: No fear but continuous learning!
P.S.: Apple removed the “Computer” in its company name might indicate its re-positioning itself in the industry, but also proves a saying, “Computers are going to disappear from our eyes but to exist everywhere in the world.”
